How to Measure Dual Shades

How to Measure for Inside Mount

  • Measure the Depth: Measure your window frame for an inside mount. Minimum depth required: 3 7/8" (9.8 cm) for Standard Valances.
  • Measure the Width: Place the tape inside the window frame and measure left-to-right at the top, middle, and bottom. Keep it level, record each measurement, and use the smallest one, rounding down to the nearest 1/8" (0.125").
  • Measure the Height: Measure top-to-bottom at left, center, and right inside the frame. Keep the tape vertical; record each measurement. Use the largest measurement and round down to the nearest 1/8" (0.125").
