Smart bulbs usually don’t play well with traditional wall dimmers because dimmers alter the power the bulb needs to stay online. For reliable dimming, keep constant power and use a smart bulb dimmer or a smart bulb dimmer switch designed to control bulbs digitally, or choose a truly compatible smart bulb that works with dimmer switch only when the manufacturer confirms it.
