  • Insert & Push Into Place
    Insert the right side into the window frame first, then push the left side upward until the shade clicks securely into position.

  • Tighten for a Secure Fit
    Turn the locking mechanism counterclockwise until you feel resistance, creating firm tension against the window frame.
  • Finish with the Cover Plate
    Install the cover plate for a clean, streamlined look. Your shade is now ready to use.

Inside Mount Measurement

  • Width Measurement:
    Order width includes the width of the valance.
    Measure the top width inside the window frame and round down to the nearest 1/8 inch.
    Please order at the exact opening size with no deductions.
    The factory will make a small deduction of approximately 1/8 inch (3.2 mm) during production to ensure a safe and proper installation.
  • Height Measurement:
    Order height includes the height of the valance.
    Measure the middle height inside the window frame and round up to the nearest 1/8 inch.
    Make sure the most exact measurement for the height.

Please note:

  • Inside mount only: no drilling required.
  • Minimum window frame depth: 38 mm (1.49 in).
  • Maximum tension mechanism extension: 15 mm (0.59 in).
  • The window frame surface must be flat and stable to provide sufficient friction.

No-drill roller shades are designed for inside-mount installation only. Measure the exact width, height, and depth of the window opening. To ensure a proper fit, the finished shade width will be reduced by approximately 3.2 mm (1/8 in.) from the width you provide.

For a compatible inside-mount window frame, the main shade can be installed without screws, drilling, or adhesive. A simple tool may still be needed to tighten the built-in locking mechanism. Before ordering, make sure the window recess has sufficient depth and that the mounting surfaces are flat, solid, and even.

The motor, end caps, and operating components require space on both sides of the shade. Therefore, the overall product width is wider than the fabric width. A small light gap at each side is normal for roller shades.

Yes, but an outside mount requires installation brackets and screws, so it will no longer be a no-drill installation. The side components may also remain more visible because this model does not include full side covers.

This no-drill system is available with all compatible blackout and light-filtering roller shade fabric collections.
