How to Measure for Inside Mount

  • Measure the Depth: Measure your window frame for an inside mount. Minimum depth required: 1 3/4" (4.5 cm) for Standard & Cassette Valances, 2" (5 cm) for Square Valances.
  • Measure the Width: Place the tape inside the window frame and measure left-to-right at the top, middle, and bottom. Keep it level, record each measurement, and use the smallest one, rounding down to the nearest 1/8" (0.125").
